Know before you go
- Closures. Chochołowskie Termy is closed 19 to 30 October 2026; the Kasprowy Wierch cable car, which no tour here includes, is closed 19 October to 6 November 2026.
- Baths kit. Bring a swimsuit, towel and flip-flops. Spending inside goes on your wristband and is paid on exit, and overstaying a timed ticket costs 0.50 PLN a minute.
- Cash. Snowmobile, quad and buggy rentals are paid in złoty cash, and some vendors do not take cards.
- Cheese. Genuine oscypek is made only from May to September; out of season the tasting is smoked sheep’s-milk cheese of the same style.
- Weather. Zakopane averages −3.3°C in January, so bring a warm layer even for the outdoor pools.

Count the tickets before comparing prices. The Discover Cracow day is from about $46 and rated 4.9 from 1,976 reviews on Viator, but a Gubałówka return costs 37 PLN online or 42 PLN at the ticket office in the low season, and a baths ticket about 95 to 115 PLN for 3 hours. The Best Krakow Terma Bania day includes both from $75, with 4.9 from 2,267 GetYourGuide reviews. The KrakowDirect promo option is from about $55, but its baths entry is listed “for selected option”, so check yours.
Winter and snow
The Krakowdirect snowmobile, bonfire and hot springs day is the most-reviewed snowmobile day on this site, 4.8 from 1,300 GetYourGuide reviews, from $108. On every snowmobile day you pay 400 PLN in cash per machine, which carries up to two people. Snow is not guaranteed, several listings sell October dates, and without snow the rides switch to quads. Poland requires no licence to drive a snowmobile, though the Thousand Miles snowmobile day asks drivers to be 18. The park service puts the walk from Palenica Białczańska at about 8 km on an asphalt road, about 2.5 hours each way, and suggests at least 7 hours for the outing. Since 1 September 2026 horse carriages go only to Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza, about 2.9 km up.
