Private Customisable Tatra and Zakopane Car Tour from Krakow

4.8 (23 verified reviews)

About This Experience

This is a private car hire with an English-speaking driver rather than a fixed tour. Francis Kubalio Exploreain picks you up door to door in Krakow, and the day runs for 10 to 12 hours depending on what you choose to see.

The one fixed stop in the itinerary is about two hours at Gubałówka, the ridge above Zakopane, where the listing mentions a cheese tasting, food and drink and an arts and crafts market. The listing suggests other stops to build around it: Krupówki Street, SkyWalk Poronin (a viewing tower near Zakopane), thermal baths, Morskie Oko, highland villages and a float on the Dunajec.

Entrance fees are not included, so you pay for each attraction on the day. In the autumn low season (1 October to 18 December 2026) a Gubałówka funicular return costs 37 PLN online or 42 PLN at the ticket office, Tatra National Park entry is 11 PLN, and an adult 3-hour pool ticket at Chochołowskie Termy costs 95 PLN Monday to Thursday or 115 PLN at weekends.

Plan Morskie Oko carefully. Cars stop at Palenica Białczańska, and from there the walk is about 8 km on an asphalt road, roughly 2.5 hours each way. Since 1 September 2026 horse carriages go no further than Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza, about 2.9 km up, so carriage riders still walk the rest. Dunajec rafting runs until 31 October.

Prices start from $180 per person, and the listing also shows private options at about $295 and $321, so compare what each covers. Guests rate it 4.8 from 23 GetYourGuide reviews; one noted it works better if you arrive with your own ideas, since it is closer to a driver service than a guided tour.

Shout out to Sagar for driving us well and taking us to our destinations. But please guys, be honest to your customers; this was not a TOUR. This was a private driver service. You guys even doubled down, and messaged me in what’s app that it was a tour. If I hadn’t did my research on places to go, then I have no idea how the trip would’ve turned out. We fully appreciate the driver and his services and were happy with it. But I don’t appreciate the false advertisement or the lying. The car was kinda small also; a CUV, my mom had to sit sideways in the last row.
