Snowmobile Adventure with Zakopane and Optional Thermal Pools

About This Experience
KRK-KrakowTours picks up in central Krakow and drives about two hours to Podhale in an air-conditioned vehicle, with an English-speaking guide. The listing has three options, and what you get depends on which one you book.
The cheapest option, from $51 per person, covers the snowmobile day and Zakopane without the thermal baths. Adding the baths costs about $141 per person from a meeting point, or about $154 with hotel pickup or drop-off. On every option the snowmobile is extra: 400 PLN per two-seat machine, paid in cash on the day after signing a rental agreement.
The day starts in Chochołów, a village of wooden houses, where you step inside a traditional log house that belonged to a local wood sculptor (closed on Sundays and public holidays). After a safety briefing, you follow a guide on another snowmobile, with a viewpoint stop for the Tatras and a more technical section on the way back. Vehicles are banned in Tatra National Park, so the ride stays outside it. Without enough snow, the tour uses off-road buggies or quads.
Next comes a bacówka in Witów for smoked sheep's-milk cheese (sold as oscypek) grilled over an open fire, then about an hour and a half in Zakopane for lunch or a walk. On the baths options, the day ends with about two and a half hours in the pools at Chochołowskie Termy; the ticket allows 3 hours 15 minutes inside.
The tour holds a rating of 5.0 from 310 GetYourGuide reviews.

- The ride is guided: you follow a guide on another snowmobile, and the route is adjusted to your skills.
- Without enough snow, the tour uses off-road buggies or quads instead.
- The sculptor's hut in Chochołów is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
- Chochołowskie Termy is closed for building work from 19 to 30 October 2026, and some operators send groups to Terma Bania in Białka Tatrzańska on those dates, so check which baths your date uses.

What Travelers Say
Rated 5.0/5 by 310 verified GetYourGuide travelers.
I booked this trip for my sons 18th Birthday. The snowmobile was definitely his highlight. Especially as he was allowed to drive having turned 18 but his younger brother had to go with an adult. The trip was very well organised and really lovely to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Thank you Thomas
