The Basic option is essentially a return transfer from Krakow with free time: about 3.5 hours in Zakopane and 1.5 hours in local villages, with the cheese and spirits tasting but no Gubałówka cable-car ticket and no guided sightseeing. The guided option, about $79 per person, adds a tour host for the whole day. After about 1.5 hours on the road you stop in Chochołów to see its wooden architecture, then in nearby Witów for smoked sheep's-milk cheese sold as oscypek, regional spirits and other local food.

In Zakopane the host walks you through the local market, then up Gubałówka with skip-the-line cable-car tickets for about an hour on the ridge. Around 1.5 hours follow on Krupówki Street for lunch, which you pay for yourself. Jaszczurówka Chapel and the Pęksowy Brzyzek cemetery are optional extras on the way back.
