Zakopane Day Trip with Thermal Springs, Funicular and Local Tasting

About This Experience
Cracow Top Tours runs this full package day, rated 4.8 from 5,755 GetYourGuide reviews. You choose between a Krakow meeting point, from $96 per person, and pickup from your hotel or apartment, about $102. Pickups take place between 8:00 and 9:00, and the drive to the mountains takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
The opening stop is Chochołów, a village known for its traditional wooden houses, for a walk and photos of about 20 minutes. Next is a shepherd's hut where you taste smoked sheep's-milk cheese (sold as oscypek) with a shot of Polish vodka.
In Zakopane you ride the funicular up Gubałówka, about 300 m above town, for views of the Tatras; cafes, souvenir stalls and a summer gravity slide (not included) are at the top. Back down, you have free time on Krupówki, the main pedestrian street, for lunch at your own cost. The listing allows about 2 to 2.5 hours in town.
The day ends with a three-hour ticket to the thermal baths, with indoor and outdoor pools, water slides and jacuzzis. You get a wristband for the changing rooms and lockers; the nudist zone and anything from the pool bar are not included. From 19 to 30 October 2026 the Chochołów complex is closed for works, and the operator sends this tour to Terma Bania for the same three hours instead.
Live guiding is in English and Polish, with written booklets in other languages chosen at booking. The day lasts about 11 hours, and drop-off points include Floriana Straszewskiego 17, Józefa Dietla 47, Wielopole 2, plac Jana Matejki 2 and Starowiślna 65.

Brilliant day out. The thermal springs are more like a leisure centre with lots of swimming pools but it was a very good day.
