Zakopane Quad and Buggy Tour with Thermal Baths from Krakow

About This Experience
This is an activity day rather than a sightseeing tour. You ride in a van from Krakow to Podhale, the highland area around Zakopane, with a guide who stays with the group all day.
The first stop is Chochołów, a village of old log houses, where the listing includes entry to a sculptor's house. The operator's highlights also mention the home of Jan Krzeptowski Sabała, the highland storyteller.
Then comes the ride. You pick a scenic route with views of the Tatras or a rougher 'extreme' route through mud, forest and water, with a photo break in the middle. Quads and buggies are two-seaters, and the rental is not in the tour price: the listing asks 400 PLN per quad or 500 PLN per buggy, in cash only.
After the ride you grill slices of smoked sheep's-milk cheese (sold as oscypek) over a fire pit, then finish at Chochołowskie Termy. The baths are included on the 'With thermal baths' option only; one reviewer had about two and a half hours there and another said it was the only place to eat.
Chochołowskie Termy is closed from 19 to 30 October 2026 for building work, so if your date falls in that window, ask the operator which baths the group will use.

I booked this for myself and my 12-year-old daughter while celebrating my birthday in Kraków, and it exceeded our expectations! The quad biking was amazing and perfect for anyone who loves adrenaline. The off-road sections, especially driving through the water, were definitely the highlight for both of us. The thermal baths were the perfect way to relax afterwards. They were beautiful, although a little crowded. A huge thank you to our tour guide, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and always checking everyone was enjoying themselves. They made sure we had plenty of food and toilet stops, and our driver was also fantastic—professional, friendly, and made the journey comfortable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Kraków. It was the perfect birthday celebration and a day my daughter and I will always remember!

Brought my daughter in law for her 18th birthday to Krakow for a long weekend and booked this trip the day before as to explore more than the central square. From the moment we were picked up we were made to feel welcome and the guide was wonderful, she was chatty and went above and beyond to explain each stage as well as general conversation. We were guided through each activity without any problem and she was also very informative at each stage so we also learnt quite a bit about the local culture along they way. Highly recommended if you are thinking of doing this as an activity in Krakow.
